My mission
To help people recall their self-worth, their core values & strengths and make the necessary changes to patterns of behaviour that no longer serve their life goals.
Core Values
Mental Wellness is a Right - happiness comes from within but sometimes we need an unbiased supporter to help us get back on a healthier pathway. Whether you find yourself stuck due to work or school issues, are having difficulties in your relationship or simply are looking to change patterns of behaving that are no longer aligned with your goals, know that you don’t have to face this alone. Let me help you.
Result oriented - therapy needs to be effective. From the initial assessment to the final termination session I will help you create measurable goals for wellness and obtain feedback from you to ensure I am providing you with the support you seek.
Diversity is Beautiful- we are all unique! From the culture that you were born into to the identity you have accepted, YOU deserve to be appreciated for who you are. Let me help you define your needs and values. Let me help you find acceptance and appreciation.
Team Work- For my underage clients, when appropriate I will include the parents or guardian in the treatment process. Supporting children needs to include the proximal processes that surround that young person as well as counselling towards individual change.
I have been working in the field for over 20 years to help people build their capacities. I use culturally informed practices to help clients deal with major life changes.

How a therapist conceptualises a problem impacts how they will care for you. Personal biases, their knowledge or assumptions about your issue, their varied life experience and education will determine if they are the right person to support you.
As a practitioner who has experienced social injustice and institutional bigotry I strive to honour the cultural and religious values of my clients. I continue to build my competency in countering oppressive practices in therapy
I work in collaboration with my clients, to help them achieve their goals, process their pain, give themselves permission to change and consider unvoiced possibilities. I will treat you with dignity, I will provide a safe space for you to speak. In our sessions, you will be reminded of your self worth. Together, we will mine the gems within you, using your personal strengths and best-practice therapies to heal, to grow, to flourish.
I believe all people are born with capacity. My role as the therapist is to help nurture this potential.
