Parents Forever™ meets and exceeds expectations for court mandated parent education. After completing a Parents Forever™ course, you will be able to:
Describe the family transition journey and how each family member will be affected.
Recognize the role of self-care, parent-child relationships, and co-parenting in child well-being.
Identify internal and external resources and strategize how to leverage these resources to promote resilience for all involved.
You will receive a certificate of completion after completing your course. This certificate is what you need to show your judge, court personnel, or attorney if the course was court-ordered.
Building a comprehensive sexual health program in your school
3 WEEK SERIES
Why your school needs a comprehensive sexual health program and why you’re going to teach it! This is a course for educators interested in improving the sexual health program in their school.
Over the course of 3 sessions we consider theory, research and effective practices to build your school sexual health program. You will walk away with the tools you need to begin building and implementing your school sexual health program.
Positive Discipline Parenting training workshop
6 – 10 WEEK SERIES
Positive Discipline is a parenting program designed to teach young people to become responsible, respectful, and resourceful members of their communities.
Based on the best-selling Positive Discipline parenting books by Dr. Jane Nelsen, the program teaches important social and life skills in a manner that is, deeply respectful. aligned with the families values and encouraging for both children and adults.
Taught in a small group setting, this program challenges the parents to consider their purpose of parenting: using that objective towards, improving their communication approach, discipline responses, and to make informed decisions about their parenting. Parents will walk away feeling equipped to take on one of life’s most precious responsibilities, ready to raise a resilient, capable young person.
Parent workshops
90 minute workshops for parents and guardians. I engage every parent by providing a relaxed atmosphere with opportunities for experiential and interactive learning.

Raising an adult- interactive session following the developmental benchmarks a young person should be reaching as they mature towards adulthood.

Co-Parenting- a brief introduction into parenting after divorce. defining new roles, communication dos and don’ts, pitfalls to avoid
Parent Book Club- this series involves a deep and comprehensive look at a parenting book. (a list of possible books provided on request)

Being an Ethical Counsellor -a workshop for international school counsellors. interested in refreshing their understanding of ethics as it applies to the profession of an international school counsellor. Topics include: ethical principles & values, responsibilities of the counsellor, student rights, consent, protection of vulnerable students and privacy.
The Importance of Stories - narrative theory strategies to support cross-cultural, immigrant and refugee students. Research based workshop on the impact of high mobility to school integration and academic success. Participants walk away with practical ways to ensure students are nurtured through the transition.
